Properties of unvulcanized rubber: Natural rubber contains additives, and unvulcanized rubber is called unvulcanized rubber or rubber compound, which can be understood as semi-finished products. It is closely related to the processing technology:
1. Fluidity: This is related to plasticity. The more additives, the better the fluidity, and the easier the powder blends. It is very smooth during rolling and extrusion processes. During the curing process and heating process, it can quickly fill the mold cavities, otherwise, there is a risk of missing glue.
2. Spraying: If the additives added to the formula exceed their solubility in the rubber, a layer of frost will gradually form on the surface of the rubber, which is called spraying. Excessive addition of oil, paraffin, anti-aging agents, sulfur, accelerators, etc., will lead to injection and affect the appearance and interface bonding.
3. Charred: The phenomenon of vulcanization of rubber materials during processing or production is called charred. This phenomenon is easily occurred in hot seasons. The countermeasure is to add anti-char agent and strictly control the processing temperature. Shrinkage, expansion and deformation. After the rubber exit mold, the size shrinks and expands, which brings inconvenience to molding. The main reason is that the plasticity of synthetic rubber is insufficient or the utilization rate is too high.
